Besides meeting friendly fellow beekeepers (and aspiring beekeepers), we host monthly meetings with guest speakers on a variety of interesting bee-related topics, hands-on workshops in season, beekeeping courses, workshops, and social functions. Aside from all of this, we also assist in matching beekeepers without a place to keep their bees up with people who want to have bees, have a place, but do not wish to maintain the hives. If you value the education, resources and friendship of NYCBA, we invite you join in and show your support!

We ask that people contribute $25.00 for the 2020 year, which helps to cover the costs of space rental, shared equipment and materials, web hosting, and so on. If this is a financial hardship for you, please communicate this to us and we will figure out some way to work something out with you to bring you on board. In short, we want you to be part of our community, and we won’t let the small matter of $25.00 keep us apart! ALL are welcome!
